I haven't posted in a bit, for lack of time mostly, but due to a format I just stole from a friends blog, I am back, at least once a week. Maybe more, depending on what fodder my kids produce for me when the hubby heads back to the land of milk and honey.

Outside my window...

Rain. Rain. Rain again. Flooding. Rain predicted for at least another week. I just want sun and fall leaves.

I am thinking...

About how to juggle the hubby leaving, how to get to MD to see a friend I haven't seen in 4 yrs, taking the kids camping before he leaves (don'tt even know when that is yet), getting the girls in school, getting our weight tickets from this move.

I am thankful for...

Healthy wee ones, a good hubby, and supportive family (blood and chosen).

Organic gardening, fixing my own car, and building things

From the kitchen...

A variety of foods that will be unavailble to the hubby when he leaves.

I am wearing...

Black lace-trimmed tank top, black capris w/ wine-colored ribbon trimmings, gunmetal hoops, and black velvet Mary Janes.

I am creating...

Nothing at the moment. Saving projects for after the hubby leaves.

I am going...

To fayettenam for hubby's job stuff, and then to DC!!!

That the next month goes smoothly and that the preschool will work out the stupid, self-created issues they seem to be having with getting her started.

Random food network shows the hubby is watching.

Around the house...

Need to clean. Desperately. Yesterday, really.

One of my favorite things...

Being alone in the car so I can blast the music without worrying about wee ear drums.

A few plans for the rest of the week:

Clean house. Shower a couple of times. Take the kids to various fun stuff that ATL offers.

There it is. Like I said, will try to start posting more, but at least it is a start.
